Mother Natures Power

Yesterday afternoon was a reminder of the the power that is Mother Nature that we have no control over.

The dark thunder clouds came and the kiddos quickly ran outside to splash in puddles and cool off a little...However, they were soon back on the porch to avoid being pelted by rather large ball of hail!  It was a crazy beautiful sight to see, so loud and powerful, knocking leaves off the trees and such.  The kids were wondering aloud why Jack Frost and King winter were trying to hang out in summer.
Once the hail stopped the rain continued so...what else to do???  How bout bowling:)

Gotta love the bumpers and ramps when bowling with the littles!  Strikes, spares and fun had by all.

  3. What a great way to spend a rainy afternoon - although I'd be partial to watching the rain from your cozy porch. I love a good storm!

  5. Looks like fun! We had a huge storm roll in last night! It came in late at night, so when the power started flickering, we turned it all off and grabbed the camping lights to camp out in the living room :) The kids were none-the-wiser!

  7. I hope your garden survived the hail. Bowling is so fun with kids. Our girls love it, but we don't get to go very often. Might just have to remedy that! Jacinta x
